nicotine withdrawal symptoms

Yesterday, Wednesday, was absolutely hellacious. I'm really surprized I made it. Here's the score card for those counting.

Tuesday and Wednesday -- completely smoke free days.
Monday -- I smoked a teensie weensie little bit. A few puffs and no more. Just enough to get a very minimal high.
Sunday -- I smoked four cigarettes.
Saturday -- I smoked a whole pack.

Today, Thursday, I woke up a little before 4 am, with an awful case of heartburn. When I went to sleep last night (11PM), I knew I had some gas. Between 4-5 am today, all I've done is burp. Some really long burps.

I woke up and the anxiety level didn't feel very high. Scratch that Anxiety is still there, just took a little longer to kick in. GOod sign, eh? Maybe, otherwise I'm scratching myself like a TV addict whoa!

Oh and I'm starting to get congested in my nose. Ugh.

So I figure I've had 48 hours of pure cheat free no nicotine bliss. They say it takes three to five days. I'm not sure if I should count the day I took a ccouple of puffs and nothing else or not. Sadly I bet not, so that makes having completed two days, rather than working on day four. No worries.

So I'm going to give it five days days, maybe more. This is pure hell, I cannot function. I'm no longer a member of the human race, I'm purely a ball of hatred irritability atm.

Screw it I'm going to grab a book and go back to bed. Maybe I can hide from the demons there.
